‘Profit Clinic’ events in UK - February 2009

Over the coming months, ADP DS UK will be running a series of free regional ‘Profit Clinics’ for Autoline users. The first one has taken place in Hungerford on 24th February and the next on 18th March.
The purpose of these events is to highlight practical suggestions that could help improve the bottom line performance of our customers’ businesses and to recommend ways of achieving them. The clinics will be made up of a series of four short workshop sessions on a number of different topics.

ADP DS Spain receives Microsoft certification for Aswin - January 2009

ADP DS Spain has recently obtained Microsoft ISV (Independent Software Vendor) Partner certification for Aswin. This certification qualifies Aswin for use with Windows Server 2003.
Aswin will now be listed in the new Windows Server catalogue of tested products. This is Microsoft's online source for customers and partners to find hardware and software that is compatible with the Windows Server 2003 family and that has been tested as ‘certified’ or ‘supporting’ for Windows Server 2003 and Windows 2000 Server.

This tool offers a recommendation as to what specific training will help a user to become a more proficient. Autoline 9304E launches in Ireland - November 2008

New Print Manager option - October 2008

Print Manager (formerly KPrint), which produces high quality printed laser forms from the ADP application software, is now used by 30,000 users.
ADP has introduced two new hardware configurations for Print Manager - an on-site ‘appliance’ offer and a fully hosted HSP service supported from an ADP Data Centre. The appliance option, located at the customer’s site is based on a fixed monthly rental/unit and licence/support fee per user.
The HSP offer allows multiple ‘virtual’ servers to run on a single hardware platform. Both configurations include a pro-active monitoring service which gives maximum uptime and swift fault resolution.
Ireland holds successful ‘Improve Your Bottom Line’ event - October 2008

Latest Autoline system launched in the UK - September 2008

Autoline 9304E was introduced to UK customers at The Heritage Motor Centre* in Gaydon on the 10th September. This event, which was combined with a meeting of the Southern User Group, was attended by around a 100 customers together with several manufacturer representatives.
The next part of the launch programme is to introduce Autoline 9304E to customers in the north of England and Scotland.

EVA Innovation in Belgium - January 2008

ADP Belgium has developed an interface between EVA and government-certified electronic identity card readers. By introducing a customers e-ID card in the reader at the reception, all the relevant customer information is automatically loaded in EVA without manual entry.
This reader will also be used by the dealer as a secure digital authentication and signature method when transmitting certain official documents to the Belgian authorities, e.g. VAT reports. ADP is the first DMS supplier to have introduced this functionality.

The clear menu pricing and while-you-wait service offered by Fast-Fit outlets is attractive to customers who perceive dealerships service departments to be more expensive. This tool is targeted to customers who want to develop customer retention initiatives.
Web-based portal for IMS - November 2007

The ADP IMS division have developed a web-based portal for dealers who are connected to Autoline IMS. Dealers are now able to access the system over the Internet to place and track vehicle orders, parts availability, parts orders and warranty claim processing.
The web-based portal uses Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) to deliver Autoline business functionality over the Internet and uses AJAX (Asynchronous Java and XML) to create a functionally-rich, interactive user experience. This interface will allow real-time enquiries and processing within Autoline, similar in functionality to direct client access.
